wednesday a day off
today is wednesday and we actually don't have clinic b/c it is a thai holiday. julie and i have actually been in the lounge a lot trying to do this blog. i've had to retype several b/c of the computer crashing. all seems to be working now. it is a hot day today. the rain and clouds are gone, so the sun is for sure out. again, how nice it is to have a day to read and write and savor life. i can look out the window right now and see the rice fields, flowers, green grass, hear the roosters crow, the birds chirp, even watch a stray lizard or spider run by. there don't seem to be many mosquitos this time of year. since when can i write about this? i am so grateful. we can even heat up a cup of tea and lie on the comfortable couches in this room. julie has been doing that while i have been typing for hours today. she's been reading "the true story of the death railway and the bridge on the river kwai." we are going to watch that movie while we are here too since jerry has it. i still have to read the book so i have a clue about the movie. since we are in this country, why not see the movie so we can appreciate it more. the kids are homeschooled here. Luke and Bruce are twins that are 16 years old studying Algebra 2, Geometry, Chemistry, and Biology. i want to help them with chemistry at some point if they need it. okay too much detail, move on, Zsila. :) Amy is 19 and is going to go to college next year and Anna is 12. alright, that's enough for now.
